When it comes to self-care it’s easy to default to beauty rituals and since this is a beauty blog it’s probably even easier. I want to put something else into the air about this though.
Beauty things kind of lift me up(surprise, surprise), but that’s not everyone. If that’s not you, have you investigated what helps you recharge your battery so you can keep doing what you need/want to do? What settles you? What helps you right the ship if you veer off course a bit?
If it’s a beauty thing, great, but if it’s not don’t feel wrong. What your spirit may be telling you is that getting your hair done is nice, but it’s not enough.
