Are you a lipstick fan? Do you like their mascaras and eyeliners? What about the eyeshadows? I’m partial to the lipsticks, but I know other people love the blushes. Share this post by clicking below and let me know your fave.
Once upon a time, the liquid lipstick game was held down by one or two brands and the lipstick bullet reigned supreme. But times change. From drugstore to department store, the liquid lip is here and there are enough on the market now to know which one YOU think is the best. So tell me what’s the BEST liquid lipstick?
Use the #BuryMeMondays hashtag to tell me your pick for the best liquid lipstick or leave a comment below. I’m also on snapchat so send me snaps.
You love makeup, but someone in your life doesn’t. They want you to wear less. They want you to buy less. They don’t understand how you could get excited about lipstick, mascara, highlighter. They’re quick to tell you they don’t need it(so and?). Basically, they don’t know how to keep their f*#%ing mouths shut. So what do you do? Do you have a clapback ready or do you just let it roll off your back because they’re pressed enough for the both of you? Let me know in the comments.

I’m a woman who likes options or at least that’s what I tell myself when I pick up something that may or may not look similar to something I already own. So today I have a few swatches of some vampy lip options for you. One is on the high side while the others are budget friendly so hopefully you won’t feel left out if vampy lips are your lane and you haven’t tried these yet.
Wet N Wild – Vamp It Up ($1.99)
When it comes to a dark lip what’s you’re go-to shade?
If you’re anything like me you probably buy makeup for no reason at times. Now of course you have a “reason” but you know and I know that it’s probably more of an excuse than satisfying a true need like replacing something. Nevertheless, I want to know your makeup buying excuse.
What do you tell yourself as you place the item in your cart and a little voice is saying “How many mascaras do you really need?” or “What about the last lipstick you bought?” Mine is below.
So how do you talk yourself into buying that lipstick or blush? Leave comment below.
You’ve heard it. You’ve snickered at it. You probably tried it and learned from experience how wrong it was. So what’s the worst beauty advice you’ve heard?
The one that gets me is “reviving” your dried out mascara with eye drops. With mascara prices running less than $5 there’s no reason to revive anything. If for some reason your mascara is drying out before it’s time to replace it, return it, and may it never make its way into your shopping cart again. Ok? OK.
So let me know, what’s the worst beauty advice you’ve heard? Comments are always welcome and don’t forget to use the #burymemondays if you answer on social media.
The Maybelline New York Colorblur by Lipstudio is a cream matte pencil with a blurring smudger that allows you to create different looks with the product. You can do a full-on bold look or use the smudger for barely there look.
I’m not that big on the smudger. Some of the blurred look cool like the reverse ombre but I’m not big on the barely there looks. However, I like the application of this product with one caveat that I’ll touch on in a few.
I really liked the way Plum Please and Partner In Crimson wore. While there is some transfer during eating and drinking it doesn’t wear off in a way that makes me feel like I have to start with a bare lip to reapply it. They weren’t drying, heavy or tight on my lips like some matte products can be. It does apply better with a bare lip so keep that in mind if you tend to need lip balm. My only beef with it was that Orange Ya Glad gave me hell because it made me look like I didn’t exfoliate my lips. It’s pretty much unwearable for me at this point but I love the color.
There are 7 colors besides these so I will be picking up one or two more at some point. I might even do a giveaway so be on the lookout.
Maybelline New York Colorblur by Lipstudio($8.99) is available at Wal-Mart, Walgreens, CVS and other retailers.
It’s still Monday where I am so I didn’t want to let it slip away without asking you is there any trend that you’re afraid to try? Continue reading What Trend Are You Afraid To Try? #BuryMeMondays
