You’ve heard it. You’ve snickered at it. You probably tried it and learned from experience how wrong it was. So what’s the worst beauty advice you’ve heard?
The one that gets me is “reviving” your dried out mascara with eye drops. With mascara prices running less than $5 there’s no reason to revive anything. If for some reason your mascara is drying out before it’s time to replace it, return it, and may it never make its way into your shopping cart again. Ok? OK.
So let me know, what’s the worst beauty advice you’ve heard? Comments are always welcome and don’t forget to use the #burymemondays if you answer on social media.
Disclosure: This product was gifted to me by Black Radiance.
The first signs that Fall is on its way are popping up in stores and falling down to the ground. I can’t help but think of the poem Nothing Gold Can Stay by Robert Frost. So with summer soon giving way to pumpkin spice and hoodies why not stay gold with a little Black Radiance.
Black Radiance Continuous Color Pigments($3.99) can be used wet or dry. Pop a little in the inner corner or pat it where you want on the lid and blend.
And nothing captures the color of gold like a little bit of Sylvester’s You Make Me Feel(Mighty Real). Glitter should fall from the sky when it plays and we should all twirl in the magnificence. So bask in this classic jam while you prepare for what the night may bring.
What will you jam to tonight while you get ready to hit the town? Don’t forget to tag me on Instagram(@shantafabulous) so I can see how gorgeous you look tonight.
In a world with photographs of perfect makeup everywhere it’s easy to get down in the dumps because your skills may not be up to snuff. However, today that doesn’t matter. Today is the day you get to toot your horn because we’re all good at something. Maybe you can blend eyeshadow like nobody’s business. Maybe your winged cat eye is a force to be reckoned with. Can you put on lipstick perfectly every time? Let me know. There’s something you can do in your sleep and that’s dope. So no matter how big or how small, what makeup skill have you mastered?
Disclosure: This product was sent to me. All opinions are my own.
I rock with Black Radiance(and their sister company Wet N Wild) when it comes to eyeshadows. They’re pigmented and won’t hurt your pockets. So if you’re looking for something good for the low-low then this is it. Continue reading First Impression: Black Radiance(@b_radiance) Comes CORRECT
