Last Wednesday’s post was about black lipstick from Black Radiance. This Wednesday is about a black lip gloss from the same brand. Continue reading Black Radiance(@b_radiance) Brilliant Effects Lip Gloss – Black Diamond
I need you to understand that the sun kinda rises and falls with Francois Nars and Nars Cosmetics. Even if I don’t have it to spend I have to know what’s coming next.

Disclosure: I received this product from Black Radiance. All opinions are my own.
For the brown girl living in a world where department store brands may not be within reach Black Radiance can be the plug. I’ve been in drugstores that stock up to the first dark foundation shade when 2 or 3 follow it. This kind of thing leaves many dark skin consumers out. Consumers who are ready to spend their money and be loyal to a brand forever. So I think Black Radiance fills that space. Things that we loved when we were younger don’t always work well for us when we’re older. At the same I think we avoid or let go of certain things because of our perceptions and not how it looks. There are lots of articles that talk about transitioning from THIS product to something more age appropriate and while that type of thinking has its place, I wonder if it stifles us.
So does your age dictate what you trends you try? Leave a comment below, use the #BuryMeMondays tag on Twitter, or send me a snap.

You love makeup, but someone in your life doesn’t. They want you to wear less. They want you to buy less. They don’t understand how you could get excited about lipstick, mascara, highlighter. They’re quick to tell you they don’t need it(so and?). Basically, they don’t know how to keep their f*#%ing mouths shut. So what do you do? Do you have a clapback ready or do you just let it roll off your back because they’re pressed enough for the both of you? Let me know in the comments.
