5 Products I'm Bringing With Me Into 2015

2014 is coming to a close. While some of us are thinking about what we want to leave behind I wanted to share some beauty products that are coming with me into 2015.

OCC Pagan and Technopagan
OCC Lip Tars($18.00)

I’ve had a thing for the OCC lip tars but this year made me realize how great the products are. The pigmentation and longevity are hard to top.

Milani Color Statement Lipstick
Milani Color Statement Lipstick($5.99)

Milani is one of those brands I slept on because I was still stuck on the idea that drugstore couldn’t compete with the more expensive brands. I was wrong and I’ve made amends. Milani lipsticks are dope. Their new matte lipsticks should be rolling out soon so once I see them I know I’ll have to get a few.

Freeman Beauty Charcoal and Black Sugar Polishing Mask Review
Freeman Beauty Charcoal and Black Sugar Polishing Mask ($3.99)

I rotate different exfoliating products in my skincare routine so I haven’t had to repurchase the Charcoal and Black Sugar Mask but I know when this runs out I’m going get more. My moisturizer seems to slide onto my skin after I use the mask vs other products.

Bioré Deep Pore Cleanser
Bioré Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser($6.50)

The Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser has reluctantly moved into holy grail status with me. I say reluctantly because I kept thinking I was crazy as I experienced longer stretches of clear skin. This did get repurchased this year and will be repurchased as long as it’s around.

NARS Matte Multiple - Exumas
Exumas Matte Multiple($39)

Nars Matte Multiples are a great alternative to my shimmery blushes. It’s also a multi-use product so it can go on the cheeks and lips. I hope Nars Cosmetics comes out with more.

Let me know what some of your favorite products of 2014 were and I hope you all have a safe and Happy New Year. 🙂

  1. I love my milani lipstick, biore cleanser, and charcoal mask!! Especially the biore cleanser. My dermatolagist even told me how empty my pores were (!) after I started using it every night. The stuff really works!! And the charcoal mask leaves skin so soft. I forgot I had it until I read this post, I’ll have to do a mask spa night soon. 🙂

    1. Yay! It took me forever to feel like the Biore Cleanser was working. I’m so used to products cleaning my face but not really improving it that I just knew I was mistaken. That makes me feel good that your derm noticed it working too. 🙂

  2. Now that I’ve delved into the world of lipstick, it is definitely time for me to try blush (again). I haven’t worn it in probably 8 years, so NARS is on my to buy list for sure!
