L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara Made My Lashes Pop, Severely

I purchased L’Oreal Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara awhile back and just wasn’t impressed. I tossed it in my mascara drawer and forgot about it. Today I decided to revisit it and found out that sometimes first impressions aren’t always the most accurate impression. This is actually great mascara.

The L’Oreal Miss Manga  in Blackest Black gave me some serious length and volume and is super black. It didn’t give me anime eyes, but it definitely defined my lashes and gave them more dimension.

The brush is a cone-shaped 360° flexor brush that amplifies the top lashes, while maximizing the bottom for the ultimate wide-eyed manga look.

The brush is very flexible. I’m not sure if the flexibility made a difference with application though. I really didn’t notice much movement as I used it. That didn’t surprise me because I was gently putting mascara on my lashes and not painting a house.

The formula is on the thick side and could clump with multiple coats. I put on the first coat and squealed a bit because I thought my lashes looked so nice. When I went for the second coat I realized that one may be enough. My best advice is to play around with it to see what look you like the most.

I’m so glad that I decided to revisit this mascara so now it can get put into the rotation of mascaras that I like.

  1. I have it, it’s my running out of the house throw something on mascara. First time I did get the anime eyes effect…but you’ve seen my eyes, lol so any thick mascara will do that to me.

I’m bothered by the fact that the brush always seems dry. I’ve only had it a few weeks but I almost have to dig around in there for product. *shrug*
